Snow Shoes!

This weekend feels positively spring like with clear blue skies and warm sun, definitely coffee in a deckchair weather!

With a non-skiing guest I tried something new - snow shoeing or raquettes as it is known in France, a very apt name as it is like walking with tennis rackets strapped to your feet. It was actually quite hard work but really good fun and provided an opportunity to explore parts of the National Park which would otherwise be off limits.
